What to Expect

At Lake Tapps, we worship in a casual environment. Feel free to dress comfortably and grab a cup of coffee before service. Our service starts at 10:30 and usually wraps up before noon.

Nursery

Care for children from birth to two years is available in our nursery which is located on the main floor by the east entrance. In the nursery, your child will receive care from nurturing adults who love infants and toddlers. Pagers are available if your child should need assistance during the service.

Children

All children should be checked in at the check-in station, which is located near the east doors next to the nursery. After check-in, all children in preschool through 5th grade may be dropped off in the preschool classroom (directly across from the nursery) for worship. Kindergarten through 5th grade students will be taken upstairs by their teachers after worship.  They’ll play, sing, and learn in a Christ-centered environment. Family is important to us, so children in K-5th grade will join you for worship at the end of service.

Students

Students in 6th through 12th grades worship with their families on Sunday mornings. We offer a Sunday night service at 7:00 for students. For more information about other Student Ministry offerings, click here.

Communion 

At each service, all Christians are invited to remember the death and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Please come forward, take the bread and dip it into the goblet of juice. You have freedom to come alone, with your spouse, friend, and even invite your kids to get a closer look. It is a time to repent, confess and pray to Jesus.

Money

If you are checking us out, please don’t feel obligated to give. Members of Lake Tapps have committed to financial giving. As our guest, we’re glad you chose to worship with us today. We have a response card you may fill out and place in the offering tray.
