Sunday Nights

Sunday Nights is our worship service for 6th thru 12th graders. Each week from 7:00-8:30pm we gather to worship God through music, imaginative listening, reflective journaling, individualized response and prayer. It is the hope of The Student Ministry that every student will not just learn about God, but begin to see themselves as a central part of God's story. A God-formed identity produces a life that Honors God, Follows Christ and Serves People.

Community Groups

With the smorgasbord of offerings to stay socially connected these days, it's a wonder that people still feel alone. Many of us have lost the traditional sense of community, choosing an illusion of connectedness through social networking sites and texting. The goal of Community Groups is to provide a place where middle and high school students can belong together, in real community. They will be accepted by peers, loved by adults, challenged to grow in their faith and encouraged to engage in God's mission in the world...all within a fun and safe environment.

Community Groups meet midweek in homes in the community. For more information, contact Stephanie at stephanie@ltcc.org.

J12

J12 is our ministry to 4th and 5th graders. At lake tapps, we believe that our tweens are able to engage their hearts in their faith and should be challenged to following after the model of Jesus at 12 years of age, sitting in the temple courts learning and asking questions.

Currently, we offer a J12 community group which meets on Thursday evenings as well as what we call bridge events approximately once per quarter, which introduce kids to student life at lake tapps.

Sunday Mornings

The Student Ministry desires to create an integrated community of youth within the church, not a separate identity. Though we are purposeful in involving students in age-specific worship and events, students are highly encouraged to attend service with their parents on Sunday mornings.
